I vote for Slough. 
 
It's only a 10 minute train ride from Windsor (£2.70 off-peak day return). And I hear the Slough Trading Estate is delightful in May.

I once visited the Karnehm & Hillman billiard table & accessories factory on Slough Trading Estate.
