Hi Jules, I don't have anything more than the great advice you already have. Sadly I think sexy is what's expected out of female performers since burlesque and it really sells the act along with the talent. One female performer that got sick of being put on stage half dressed was Pat Benatar. If I understand correctly, she and Neil started their own record company to get away from all that. Not many fans were lost when she started making videos dressed from head to toe like This  IMO just as sexy as ever. You can't hide sexy, it's in the performance she had it and so do you.  Do what you feel comfortable doing. With that voice, it's already sexy.

Speaking on behalf of all of us for whom "sexy" is no longer (or never was) an option, I say go for it. The day will come when nobody wants to see your tattoos anymore, and they'll no longer be in the same place they started out anyway. Celebrate today and enjoy what remains of your youth, lest you someday regret that you never did.

As for what your husband thinks, all you gotta do is ask him. He'll be cool with it, I'm sure, but he'll still appreciate being asked.

Grant, that was very nice.  Thank you. :)

You, too, Bit.  I DID show about 30 of them to him, and we edited down to four and did a little cropping to make him happy.  Only one shot of the dubious tattoo.  And rather arty and tasteful if I do say so myself. :)

THANKS ALL!

Ha!  Well, he tripped over the tripod when he got home... So... I think he knew it was me and my co-conspirator, Self-Timer.  :)
