Sorry if this has been discussed before, but I did a search and couldn't find anything....

When I use Firefox (latest version) in these forums, most of the posting functionality does not work:
- The "Enter" key will not start a new line, I have to type the "br" command to do that.
- Previews of my post will not appear.
- Quoting another post does not work.
- The menu bar across the top of the message box does not appear (font type, size, bold, formatting, etc.)
- And this " " appears at the beginning of all new posts in the message box.
- Along with several other features

Everything works perfectly with Internet Explorer, but dammit I use Firefox!!!

Any suggestions of what I can try or where I can stick Firefox?

yes, FF does not get along well with this forum.

use IE or an older version of FF (I don't remember the version it has problems)

or use an "IE tab" in FF.

or if you don't want to do the MS thing, use Opera or Google Chrome. I have the the forum home set as my homepage on Opera so it's extra handy. I still use FF for most things because of No Script to protect privacy, but Opera is very good otherwise. Opera and Chrome are neck and neck for the speed title too. http://www.opera.com/

Thanks guys, I've tried Chrome, but I think I'll give Opera a try and see how I like that. But one of my "must have" plugins is RoboForm, any browser that can't use that plugin I won't use. Unless Opera has something equivalent. I do like the idea of having a faster browser though.

Okay, so far I'm liking Opera - and it will work with my beloved Roboform.  And better still it works well with this forum.

I think we found a keeper.

I've been a FF user for so long, I think I'll miss it a little bit, but if it won't work well with Cakewalk forums then screw it!

If Roboform is auto-form population with your info, yes it does. Check the preferences under "Forms".

This could be the same argument for lack of varispeed in SONAR vs. <insert other DAW name here>, roight?

It's only been mentioned about 12,973 times (oh yeah, the "search" function doesn't work well either here ).

BTW - Where are you in the Great NorthWest?  We may have to warn you about Pedro...
