Blondie/Devo.  People who saw it said Devo still rocks the house.
Psychedelic Furs.  One of my favorite 80s bands - good heavy guitar sound.
Go-Gos - another 80s revival.  Was never a big fan but didn't hate them
Asia - the original line up is coming to HOB Houston
Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Swamp Fest
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick 2
Dethklok - The ultimate death metal band, which happens to be cartoons.

You ?

Cirque du Soleil. ;)

Thinking about grabbing a pair of tickets for Alice Cooper who'll be in Vegas in November we just heard.

Not expecting much, but it's kinda symbolic for my wife and I.

I have Neil and those crazy horse's with Foo Fighters and 2 other bands.
Neil and CH was my first concert ever.
I got home from work and a friend called and said he had a free ticket if I could be ready in 15 min. I was ready in 7.
Great show. I remember that he had like 25 Martin Guitars on stands all on stage with him. I wondered why he would need so many of the same guitar. Know I know they were all different tuning's and/or strings.

The San Diego Festival of Beer.  While not a concert in the true sense of the word, there will be local bands performing and they raise money to fight cancer.

I just saw that Blondie & Devo will be performing tonight and Roger Hodgson(Supertramp) will on stage tomorrow night for A Taste Of Newport.  Roger puts on a good show.  Sadly, I have other things to do, so it's unlikely that I'll go, but you never know.

Hi,

None right now ... Portland is not very good for stuff, unless it's top ten in everything.

Well, at least Willie Nelson is ok, and Lock, Stock & Barrell was even better as they opened for him ... they are a local band here and those kids are ok!

My wish, dream list ... Klaus Schulze, Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, Ryuichi Sakamoto ... geee 3 of them Oscar winners! ... and then ... hmmm ... would be nice to see Peter Hammill before he passes ... other than that ... hmmm ... Egberto Gismonti, with or without Charlie Haden and/or Jan Garbarek, Keith Jarrett one more time for the greatest pianist of the past 50 years!

Just saw The Wall with Roger, and it was better than the original with the exception of one little moment ... that I made sure Roger knew about it! If you read the review you know what that moment is/was!

I would like to see, and would pay, for the CHB to perform ... but it's not gonna happen. Sadly! I really think that these guys would probably rock out a place and then some ... I wanna tear up a Whiskey a Go Go or UFO or one of those revered places with them!

Ohh well, Pedro, back to your cell ... no ideas or opinions allowed today because folks are getting offended and not reading!

Rush (in MN this month)
CSN (in NY next month)

"Psychedelic Furs. One of my favorite 80s bands - good heavy guitar sound."

... saw them in the 80's as part of a WNEW FM Christmas Concert (probably around '82 and maybe in Radio City ... but will have to fact check that later)

I saw CSN at Red Rocks in Denver last month.  They were awesome.

I don't think they turn the volume up on David or Graham's guitars.  Stephen is carrying pretty much all of that part, plus the backup band.  But the harmonies - still hitting the notes 32 years after Woodstock.
