I will remember that next time I try to play Harry Lime's Theme on my Sitar

Can I play my bass along with you?

There ya go.

There's another instrument from the 'varispeed' family.

My Line 6 JTV-69 has a sitar in it. That bugger simply will not stay in tune.

Check it out HERE ---> (5:26 - 5:41)

I learned to play the Beatles "All my loving" on one of these.

It sounds superb on one you'd almost think it was written for it because the chords and runs just fall naturally on it.

It was my party piece for years.

I gave it up because I couldn't be arsed to tune it all the time.

And it even tells ewe what the notes should be (+/- 2 cents?)

How else do you think I could play it...
No it's a guitar zither.

I guess it originates from around the balkan states.
