Sean's voice really makes me think of Styx.

Mix sounds really good. Wouldn't change a thing.

Have to agree with Dan, great vocal.
Mix is fine.
At the risk of "sticking my foot in it";
The guitar solo is a bit too "busy", and the bass is a bit too "not busy".
But hey, I've had "artistic differences" with everyone I've ever worked with...
Don't change a thing!

Dan-

Sean has gotten the Styx comparison quite a bit.  I get the Petty comparison.  The 3 of us together are Styx, Petty and the Beagle.

Glad you like both the song and the mix.

Tom- We as a Band have artistic differences all of the time.  Reece actually just mentioned yesterday that he really likes the fact that we can be honest with each other and that the music is getting better, based on coming together as writers.

Sean's solo is definitely busy, as you say.  However, it fits Sean's personality and style to a tee.  You are correct, artistically we went for this track, based on those reasons.  As for Bass....hey....my only goal was to lay down a steady distinctive groove and stay out of the way of what needed to be show cased.  I actually like the Bass track and tone quite a bit.  Another artistic difference I guess.  Always please...don't be afraid to "stick your foot" in it.  We prefer to improve, based on honest input.

Wookie- Thanks for listening Brother.  Glad you like it.  They are getting easier to mix all of the time.  We seem to be coming together as a Band.  The quality of the tracks that I am receiving, makes the work easy.

Tom (pogue)- Thanks for listening and commenting man.  I will take "Wow", any day.

Sounds good here!  I agree with Wookiee - this is a great first mix.    The solo is a bit busy but I liked it.

And yeah, it must be cool getting Dennis DeYoung to sing for you.
