A band that's rehearsing at one of my musical places is playing life at the local radio here and invited me.
 
And I'm really scared to say something, life, on the radio.

Say "Hi Bapu".

Simples.

Just wave. That way you won't sound stupid if you say something moronic.

I had a radio show once that I'm pretty sure no one but those two weird locals who showed up one night listened to.  I used to pretty much have conversations with myself.  If nothing else, just open your mouth and let the voices out.  :) nothing is worse than dead air.  Better to say something stupid.  Really.  You can always talk about that stupid thing you just said.

I once played a solo guitar piece on a university radio show and managed to get through it without a single mistake. I was soooo pleased. Then the DJ asked me to say a few words about the tune. As soon as I spoke I realized I had some phlegm at the back of my throat that was affecting my voice. That's all I could think about and I made a complete arse of myself by mumbling because I didn't want to dislodge it live on air. 

I waved, took pics and said Bapu(they asked me to leave after I said that )
