Oh ... trust me ... if I would have had a pizza better, I would admit it. :) Seriously though, I think it's the tomato's. Jersey is known worldwide for it's tomato's because of the soil. It's unique there. I guess that's why they call it the Garden State. :)
Now that I think about it, there is one place here in Ames Iowa called Great Plains Sauce & Dough Company. They make this honey sour dough crust that's incredible. Problem is, it's a tiny hole in the wall, right on the edge of Iowa State's campus town and it's impossible to get in and expensive. I only ever ate there when work paid for it.
