It is rather intimidating by just looking at it ... and no labels to speak of, but in reality you would not need them since you already know what your tracks are ... I guess!
All in all, I think it is trying to make the computer and the instrument even more invisible ... and as to the decision/call as to this person using these things being a musician or not, depends on the future. There are a lot of DJ's out there that are doing things that are fairly creative out there, and while I might not like (as a purist) to call them musicians, it's hard to not call "Emily" a musician either ... it's a matter of time, and the line will be blurred and we will stop thinking of music/musician/computer and what not ... in the end, it's about the music.
But wouldn't that be a kick ... if Emily, or any DJ become the next Beatles or Rolling Stones and revolutionize everything in music and the music business!
