Good thing that happened to you in the UK!  If you even just mention the "B" word at a U.S. airport, missing your flight will be the least of your concerns!

Being a tournament dart player I've heard a lot of stories because, for some absolutely unknown reason, darts are banned from being in carry-on luggage (and, I believe, are considered a deadly weapon even though I've never even heard of a serious injury in over 30 years of playing).  Unfortunately, some of the touring players have made the comment "What's the big deal?  It's not like I've got a bomb."  and have been whisked away, in one case for two days(!), where they had a lot of stupid questions to answer...

Funny thing here ... so I wanted to buy (still do!) the special Fender precision with the dual pickups ... but I did not want the cheap case it comes with and wanted a bonna fide Fender case, which I had before on my regular Fender Jazz at the time, and it protected the bass great ... both GC and MF are too stupid and they will not price it out and sell it properly, or even know if the longer scale Special (the other less expensive version is short scale) fits on the case ... and they are not smart enough to try it and find out!
