That whole album was some kind of a production milestone when it came out. IIRC the number of overdubs in "Dreadlock" was something stellar at the time, I don't remember the figures (or was it "I'm not in love"?).

There isn't a single 10CC album that has EVER not sounded good. Remember that these guys were also producers and have a very large hand in a lot of artists in England ... and if there is one thing they do KNOW is "production".

In many ways, a lot of their work was a lot more about the "production" than it was about the music ... which they made serious fun of all the time!
 
Speaking of that Craigb ... if you have the Hotlegs CD, I want it! Gotta have the Neandertahl man make neanderthal love in my collection ... lost that album in a big rain a few years ago.  I keep thinking that Bapu and Mooch would love this song!
