I like them both.  I'm leaning towards S&G purely because Paul Simon wrote it and I heard it by them first.

Perhaps straddling the fence here, but plus one to S& G for writing a song 46 years ago that has stood the test of time, and plus one to the Bangles for doing a respectable version of it.

I like both - which is best depend on my mood, but the Bangles versons was one of those covers that add to the original.

If you like Susanna Hoffs check out "Sid and Susie" her current collaberation with Mathew Sweet. I love their version of "Different Drum"
