Any body else notice that lately US TV commercials are employing a male Bristish sounding actor to pitch wares?

I see anything form the sticky lint roller rhnigy to home maintenance plans with a Brit guy.

Is this supposed to make the product more credible??

Hi,

Well ... English humor is usually much more interesting than the American version ... but Americans are not used to listening to jokes ... they have to see them!
