I haven't taken the flu vaccine in over 15 years and don't trust nor know what type of strain they put in these vaccines (usually, it's a previous strain that they inject you with). Being in the medical field, they offer this for free at my office, but I've always graciously declined. 
 
TBH, I haven't caught the flu in over 3-4 years (can't remember the last time I caught it). I believe it's due to the prevention medicine (apple cider vinegar with a tablespoon of local honey) taken every morning that has built up my immune system.......of course, YMMV.  

Will that remedy work on the FSF Mesh?

When I was still a cyborg for five months (I had an LVAD for the left side of my heart and it operated on its own battery-powered brain) after my heart attack, but before my transplant, the doctors had a really hard time figuring if I was going to get the Swine Flu vaccine. They weren't sure if it would be safe for me. It turn out that they didn't want me to do it. After the transplant the first year, they still said not to do. Since then, they've gone back and forth. I have gotten it some years, others not.
 
Regardless, I haven't had the flu since before my heart attack. I consider myself blessed. Generally, my immunity has been up since the transplant which is weird because I take immuno-suppressors to make sure that my body doesn't attack the heart. My guess is that the heart is so strong that my health is just better with it happily ensconced under my sternum, despite the immuno-suppressors. 
 

I try to avoid being poisoned by the government, so no vaccines for me!

I have had many flu shots and absolutely no side effects!!   except maybe the frog growing from the side of my head!
