Great song and vocal. I have no idea how BIAB works but it sounds good and has great pedal steel tracks

Nice to hear a real "country" song.
A shame you have to tag it "alt-country".
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy the crunchy guitars in "modern" country.
But its pushed past the "classic rock" with a twangy vocal.
One thing I always enjoyed with the Dixie Chicks was the "traditional" country piece on every album.
Well done Bob!

I love it. A really solid song - melody and lyrics  works so well together. The vocal is great as well. Melancholy but not so much so that its a bummer - sets a strong mood and that's mark of a terrific song. Super job.
