It certainly is. Looks like I may have to drag the old Fostex Protastudio out of the roof space after all
 
Just saw the current price of Cubase Pro and am hoping that Cakewalk continues outside of the Gibson group, or Windows does not break the current version for a long time to come.

OTOH, the writing on the wall wasn't exactly written in invisible ink. Unfortunately it's a product that's not the most popular contender in a mature market owned by a cash-strapped parent company.
