Time for something new, I did try and post my second sonata a couple of weeks ago, the forum and google didn't want to play nicely. 
 
This piece started out as an acoustic guitar number, and was inspired by Roger Waters new track...so think biting lyrics...confronting lyrics lol. I've then taken the acoustic guitar part I recorded on my Zoom H6, the way I record all acoustic instruments these days...amazing tech, and layered over the top, guitar as bass via an octave pedal, synths, drums and percussion...oh and soundscapes :) and slide guitar. The second section or the pastoral section 'We all must try harder' contains synths, slide guitar, drums, soundscapes and political soundbites.
 
I've continued my experiments with multi-media, and created a new visio-sonic collage ;). In fact, the images were composed along with lyrics to create hopefully a synergy.

Interesting stuff Ben as always, I like the slide guitar. I'm going to give the usual critique of the visuals ..you tend to over-use images which makes me think you haven't got enough to fill up the timeline - like the two guys in b/w going forwards and backwards - once would have been enough for them. You lost me at about 2:30, the part with the sun through the trees went on far too long, and the audio track seemed to be stuck too.

Thanks James, all very experimental lol. Yes, you are somewhat right about lack of footage, but on saying that...the repetitive image is supposed to hammer home the repetitiveness of existence :).

Does have sort of a Roger Waters style to it. I'm no video expert so I'm rather indifferent. Existence is what it is and then it isn't anymore. Enjoy the music and art in the mean time.  Nice!
