Okay... so I've been kind of hunting for a good example of Malcom doing his thing on full display.
 
I'd say load up "Problem Child" off of Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap.
 
Simple rhythmically but just WAILING with his pick hand (and ripping the tubes on that Marshall to shreds) and ultra deep/heavy low end inversions of the chords (with the higher end inversions of the chords being covered by Angus).
 
This high/low rhythm technique is something I LOVE screwing with.

Probably having a drink now with Bon.

It is truly rare to see someone have such a profound effect from the shadows, but heartwarming to see his contributions recognized. RIP

To me, the most impressive thing about AC/DC was how tight their rhythm section was.
Malcolm was one of the only guitarists i know of who ignored the spotlight, just holding down the rhythm in the shadows.  He was a big inspiration for me, as I was learning the instrument and all my friends were flying around with their Floyd Rose's.  I just wanted to be the guy in the background keeping the song tight.
