I'm in process of migrating over to Win8 64 bit and was curious to know if anyone has any inside knowledge of which driver works best in the 64-bit environment.  I have both an 896 and 896HD.  Never had any issues under WinXP 32-bit using 3.6.7.3
 
It was my understanding that any drivers after 3.6.7.3 seemed to take a performance hit.  This may have changed since the MkIII unit has been out and driver perfomance might have improved.
 
I believe the available drivers are:
3.6.7.3 (x64)
4.0.48697
4.0.55333
 
Anyone have any suggestions which is best?

I haven't had any problems using the latest drivers with an 896HD under Win8x64.

I have an 896MkIII very happily operating X1 and X2 expanded under 64bit windows 7 (on a computer from Jim!)
Never had any issues whatsoever
