Thank you so much.  Yes, I hear Foo Fighters too.  In fact, I used a Foo Fighters tune as a reference track to check the guitars and bass loudness. 

Nice track John! The references to Foo Fitghter and R.E.M. are pretty accurate. I think this mix sounds pretty fine overall, especially considering all of the energy in the song. It comes through well in the mix. I don't think I would change a thing.

Thanks Dan.  I'm really happy with it.  I think I'm more detail oriented now.  I know this forum helped me with that.  I learned a lot in two years.  Aside from mixing, I think songs sound more interesting if there is a hooky subplot to the arrangement.  That's what I think the new guitar part does for this song.  Before it was just loud, straight ahead guitars.
