I like the instrumental a lot, very atmospheric. That simple but huge kick/snare pattern is just the ticket, really quite menacing. Liking the breakdown with the delayed guitars too, right up my street.

rural rocker, I am currently listening to the instrumental.  I really like where you go at :60.  even better at 1:30.  yes, maybe dark, but maybe not.  I feel like you are taking some chances on this, and that is good.  Is this indicative of the style you (oh wow, at 2:50 you did a masterful move) generally try to write?  If so, head this direction, and make it yours.
