Hi folks, been a bit quiet from me post wise as I stepped away from the music for a week. During which time I rebuilt me PC, including reinstallation of operating system.

This is another Ambient Space type track, which I cooked up in the oven over the weekend.

Great stuff, very full sound.  Keeps moving more than most ambient stuff I think of.  Love the way it drifts into space at the end.

P.S. - Wish I could have the confidence and skills to rebuild my PC in a week.  Seems like it takes me that long to update the extensions in my browser ;-)

Another good piece from you here Adrian

I'm counting over twenty tracks in six months dood... Don't you ever go out!

And before you come back to me on that... Yeah, I'm up to around forty in the same period, but your tracks are keepers and many of mine are experiments

And I don't go out...

cheers

Really nice, this one Adrian. Love the shuffle in the beat. Very listenable

@cwestmont - Thanks for listening. Regarding the computer bit I've had lots of practice, been using computers since the good old days of the ZX Spectrum 48k. I've also had too many heart stopping moments when things go wrong

@ephh221 - Thanks for listening, always try and make it like soft cotton wool on the ears

@ Andy - I hit the milestone of 40 last year and towards the end of last year I took stock and realised how lazy I had been with releasing music. I therefore set myself a challenge for 2017 and initially aimed to release one track a week from 1 January, we are on week 17 and that was track 23. I have quite a challenging day job, coupled with my organ/music director/choir duties, and so it is a way of escapism for at least 1 hour a day.

@Daryl - Thanks for listening, the shuffle beat was one of those happy accidents when I accidently edited the wrong loop in StylusRMX. One moment as I was cussing next it was, oooh that sounds cool

Nice and easy on the furry ears Adrian after a day of composing, thanks for sharing.

Nice piece Adrian. I don't write electronica but it seems to me that the challenge here is to make a basic loop not sound like a loop? I think you pretty much accomplished said challenge. Plenty of things playing off of the fame work.

@wookiee Glad those furry ears enjoyed the listen.
@Dean thank you for listening. Electronica can take many forms but I tend to write in blocks of 8 or 16 bar loops and layers of sound to keep the piece interesting.

Hey, some nice melodic touches to this -- in fact, you could break this up into a few new wavey type songs with vocals very easily.  I did find that the mix was a little clustered in the center -- it could use -- to my taste -- a little spread.  Other than that little nit, I thought this was some good stuff...
