One thing to keep in mind with the built in Intel graphics.  The DVI output from my i7 3770 died this week.  The VGA still worked but as my main 24" monitor is only DVI I had to install a separate video card.

Doing a search for the problem, it appears I'm not alone with the (no) DVI with the Intel CPU's.

The only thing I can think might involve the graphics card would be refreshing wave files (while recording, especially). It has been a while, but I encountered that problem and had to install a Radeon upgrade to get it to cease.

I am no computer DAW expert, so maybe Jim Rosenberry (or one of the other experts) can chime in on this issue.

@ Tomixornot - Going to use a LG that is in my other rig but as for Windows 8 I will be using Win7 Ultimate. ( there is currently no Win 8 Drivers for my VS-700 )

@ Fireberd - Thanks for the heads up I will be keeping a eye on that I do plan on putting a card in for video editing but not until the turn of the year.

@ OlskoolGuy - Thanks man I have not heard of any problems with refreshing the wave files with the gfx on the 3770K there seems to be a lot of people using them. I have spoke with Jim a bunch of times and he did the tweaks on my last system fantastic guy and so help full I would recommend him to anyone ! I will also be booking sometime with him to do the tweaks on this set up once I have it put together.
