And now I am installing everything new on it. I tried to figure out how to move my old Windows installation to this new one, but it didn't work. Well I love this kind of works. As long as I can do other things too. But I started last night, and I’m done with Cakewalk and Toontrack, but i have 38 of Native Instruments to go. I’m happy tho. that all these have made a installation program to make it easier. Now I can do other things while Native Access do most of the work.

The new drive is the Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe SSD.

The only faster drive under $1000 is the Samsung 960 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD.

Do I need it.

Yeah.

For my computer geek proudness, I do.

Nice! I can't wait until this new technology has been around enough for affordable larger drives (like a 4TB).

Yeah. The 2TB one of 960 Pro is so expensive you "cant" use it for home use.

I have more than one drive tho.

C: Samsung 960 EVO 500GB SSD - Windows and all programs
D: DVD drive
M: Samsung 840 EVO 1TB SSD - Sonar projects and Toontrack and Native Instruments samples.
O: 3TB Harddrive - OneDrive and local backup.
P: USB stick for Plugin licenses.
U: 2TB Harddrive - User files. Documents, Download, Music, Pictures and Video folders. Here i have also install files in the download folder.
Z: OCZ Vertex 4 256GB SSD -  A drive for mowing big files, backup and others.
