Im using izotope  idrum with Sonar x-1.  Trying to use the step sequencer in Sonar to triggrr the sounds....Ive tried every note in the spectrum still no sounds from the vsti......works with cakewalk drum kit  but not with idrum...Anyone know what Im not doing right?....Thanks in advance...........Jeff

It's unclear to me whether you are using SONAR's Step sequencer or iDrum's own step sequencer inside SONAR.
 
I've never used iDrum, but reading the description on Izotopes site I tend to think it can't be triggered from outside at all(??) Maybe it's meant to be used with it's own sequencer only? Just speculating here....

I think Kalle's right. They do say you can use a MIDI keyboard with it, but only to "tap out beats" when recording a sequence with its built-in sequencer. Jeff, you'd do better to use SONAR's bundled Session Drummer. Sorry about the $49 you're out.
