So Ive got 16 gb more coming for the DAW

I have an internal 1TB HDD now and am wanting to order a second to add

Seagate has a Barracuda 64 cache, 7200 1 to 3 TB that Im looking at

Reviews are back and forth on them but they are reporting they are much better than WD hard drives.

Price range on the Seagates are looking from $89-$149 for 3 TB

Anyone have anything/thoughts on the Barracudas?

I've nearly always bought various Seagate barracuda drives over the years and never had a failure yet. I think I'm safe in saying that just about all other makes have failed on me/clients at least once. (I look after several computers for a couple of companies - not in audio I hasten to add but embroidery )

Toshiba drives are the worst in my experience.

YMMV of course.
