Hey everyone.

Just happened by and saw this thread (thanks Keni!). I really do appreciate the sentiments and miss all of you as well. I really mean that. You all feel like family to me.

I've been getting used to my new gig but, as the dust is settling, will try my darndest to drop in more often and chat to you all - about SONAR, about recording, about music and life. There are also some plans brewing for some live internet broadcasts as well...

Anyway, Cakewalk is lucky to have such a great bunch of kind, passionate, and interesting people as its customers.

I'll try to call home more often.

Nite all,

-Brandon

Looking forward to hear from you Brandon.

Best Regards
Freddie

Seeing Brandon's ACT Avatar, was was like seeing a long lost friend for the first time in years,

or cotton wool straight off the radiator...

...warm and fuzzy

Great to hear from you :)

Miss them all to, but it's nice to see a happy thread here, don't get so many anymore.

Good luck all

The untold story: Brandon did double stand-in spots for Robert Downey Jr. for the latest Iron Man film. So, he is definitely keeping busy! ;-)

SteveStrummerUK: "It does make you wonder what Cakewalk would have been like now, had they turned down Roland's advances and maintained their independence. "

Wouldn't they probably be backrupt ?

Who knows Paul. They might have been giving everyone on the payroll a 50% bonus and halving the price of SONAR for all you know.

I wasn't around at the time, but if they'd been doing well why would then have sold themselves out ?

Or maybe the offer was just too good a payday for Mr Hendershot to refuse? Again, only those inside the company(s) know the real reason.

Cakewalk still drops in now and then when it's necessary, and I appreciate that they do.
Kind of like God speaking to us.
Oh bugger... I'm a devout atheist.

Hi Brandon!  It's great to hear from you.  Yes, you do need to call home more often.  Can't wait for a new video or webinar from you, if only picking lint.

Hi Brandon...

Thanks for dropping us a note. It was and is my pleasure to think of you and the wonderful charm you (amongst a few select others) have always brought to Cakewalk... I'm sure you're doing the same now for Roland and as the stars continue to shine, we all 'know' that Roland's great products really need some human interaction between the company and the users.... I hope they get it!

The Cakewalk softwares continue to be my musical center (I consider it my "main instrument" these days! ;-))

I look forward to seeing/hearing from you whenever you find the chance is at hand...

Rock a good life!

Keni
