It's because I've been asked (extremely politely and respectfully I might add) multiple times to watch my language around the forum.
 
However being a hopelessly irredeemable potty mouth and gutterbrain and not wanting to be a total... well [REDACTED] I use [REDACTED] instead of what I would normally type in such situations.
 
Which may or may not be amusing to others... but it amuses me.
