Phil, thanks for your reply.  I did take your suggestion, and I think it helps.
 
James, I was wondering about that guitar tone myself.  I took your suggestion and softened the sound to make it less harsh, but still edgy.  I hope this helps.  At least, I know I'm going in the right direction.  Thanks for your time.
