No, I'm not.

What the heck is up with skipping version 9 of something lately?  Weird...

9 is 6 flipped upside down
binary 9 is 1001, binary 6 is 0110 or "flipped"

These should be unrelated number systems but there they are.
I don't trust either one of them.

I chose not to skip 9 - so I went from Sonar 8 to Logic 9. :P

Law suits! The Beatles own it: "The one after 909", "Revolution 9", JL repeating the line "#9, #9, #9", etc.

Watched a video a while back where an Indian phone scammer asked the guy which version of Windows he was using..'7,8, or 9?'

It's been an on going conspiracy.

Not only was there no "9", but no "8" or "7" either. Those were merely aliases.

95 = 4.0
98 = 4.1
Me = 4.9 (came 8 months after 2000)
2000 = 5.0
XP = 5.1, 5.2
Vista = 6.0
7 = 6.1
8 = 6.2
8.1 = 6.3
9 = n/a
10 = 10

There are currently more sub-versions of 10 than any other version ever.
