Reece, I meant that the vocal arrangement could use a little change. Perhaps, make one voice the main vocal and back off on the other vocals a bit. A little subtlety goes a long ways. You've been very good at this in your previous songs, so take a look at one of them and reapply as needed.

thanks for your feedback, I do truly appreciate it!
the first version I released had the lead vocal ONLY on the verses singing that same octave low vocal but by itself. replies above suggested I do something to make the verse vocal beefier, easier to hear and understand. I didn't want to sing it again in the higher register because i wanted the higher contrast between the verse and chorus. so I took the suggestions above to add the other voices at a lower volume, but singing unison (actually octave higher melody). the result was well received by most, but it seems that's what you are not caring for in this version.
so...long story but I think I like it like this version instead of the previous version or changing it completely. however, I do appreciate your feedback very much and will take it into consideration for anything else in the future.
