Hi guys,
Thanks for reading my thread. I would like to create a nice library of effects and other sorts of random noises. Ideally what I would do is play my MIDI keyboard through Z3ta and and have it record the audio in real-time, that way I can move fast. Is there any way to do this instead of inputting the MIDI data and then selecting the region and Bouncing to New Track? Can I just record a synth while playing just as I would record a miked guitar? Thanks in advance.

I would record directly into one of the Cakewalk Microhosts. You're still going to have to edit the samples down afterwards. You may find some helpful info
here
, and the linked .pdfs in it.

Personally i would drive this from a DAW, or a keyboard controller where you can assign fixed velocity.. this will make sample editing much easier ..
