Thought I would float this out to the forum for comments.  Alternate/additional midi entry solution for those used to traditional music notation entry.  Useful, confusing, needed or not?

New staff/clef window (outlined in red) on left could be resized/hidden like the keyboard window on right.  Of course the implementation would be much neater than this rough mock up.
