Really nice piece ! I like the build up in the arrangement. Well produced and mixed (a touch more high end on the kick to cut through the mix a bit more, maybe...?)

This is very well done John! As a personal aside, I had hoped would get a bit more energetic at some point, but it never did. Besides my personal preferences though, the vocals and instrumentation were well done and tastefully executed. Your mix was excellent as well. Great job!

Yeah, i grew up in the 80s to that kind of music.
It's both a blessing and a curse. I've said before, sometimes i wish i could sound a little bit more modern.
The music we grow up to really shapes us.
