Came back for a listen to the new mix. At the risk of sounding stupid with no source for comparison, sounds tighter in the lower end/drums?? :) (nervously awaits an answer........)

Daryl, thanks for lending your ears once again.  The updated mix had the following changes from the original:

• Drums up during chorus
• Bass up during chorus
• Re-levelled the kick to add more thump to the bottom
• Tweaked the FX on the lead vocal to remove some artifacts
• Removed some low-end ringing from the toms that was bothering me
• Tweaked EQ on several guitar tracks to blend them better

Mostly, these were fairly subtle changes, but they added up to, I think, more power during the chorus (chorii?). I also agree that it tightened things up overall.

Of course, without a reference, I can't tell what the improvements are, and, even if I could hear the previous version, I don't have the listening skills to know the difference anyway.

Terrific production job, Dan! Practically defines the term "rock ballad." Gorgeous arrangement, great job! That guy's got an amazing voice, too.
 
As an aside, may I ask what reverb you used on the voice? 

I just had to pick my jaw off of the floor.  This is as good as anything you could hear on the Billboard.  This sounds like it was recorded in a professional studio for a high price.  EXCELLENT work.

Thanks for the listen! I don't know, you could probably have been able to hear the difference. The first mix was a lot more polite than Craig wanted. This mix is a bit more aggressive.
