Hello Olivier

Thank you for taking the time to listen to Clyite. Yes, I think six minutes does work better for this one

I've got a twenty minute track waiting in the wings, just waiting for the right time to publish is

Hi Andy, I was hoping to hear something new from you. Been thinking about doing something a little ambient sounding myself next month (with guitars) and you do this stuff really well, good to get some inspiration. 'Clytie' is very hopeful sounding, and didn't seem anything like 6 minutes.

Thanks for listening James

Aye, I've been struggling of late.

I really look forward to hearing your guitar ambient piece, that would be awesome. I've not even taken my PRS Studio off it's hanger in 2017, which is really sad. I think I need to remedy that...

synk - if you're not writing soundtracks for movies - you should be - this is just fantastic - brought out so many images. Nice my friend.

Hiya Mark,

Thanks for taking the time to listen to Clytie

I guess in the past I had hoped for my "talent" to spotted but, at 56, I've kinda given up now, so I create stuff for myself and hope that a few others across the world also enjoy what I am doing.

Thanks again for your kind comments Mark, I really appreciate it

cheers

Lovely composition, Andy. Above my pay grade to comment on technique or anything, but I enjoyed the listen. Thanks!

PS: "Happy Music?" Really?

Thanks Larry!

I'm glad you enjoyed the listen.

Technique employed here is nice and simple... It has to be, as my skills are somewhat limited. And as for the Happy Music tag, I tend to use this a lot for anything I create in the key of C major

A little late to the party having had to rebuild the System drive of my Primary after something  happened to it.

Nice as always love that Bass wind sound.

Sorry to hear that Wookiee. I hope all is okay with the rebuild.

Thanks for listening to Clytie and I'm glad you enjoyed it. My modular was used for all the basic sounds. I do like its abilities as a lead instrument

Well, all I can say is it was worth six minutes.

Another nice piece, Andy.   I've always liked your style and this one is no exception.   You manage to wrangle a lot out of a minimal number of parts, and yet keep it interesting.    As mentioned above, your material seems soundtrack ready...

I like the way this slowly evolves, allowing it to unfold into layer upon layer.  Andy, you really could be writing for Hollywood.  They might give you and Oscar by mistake
