I was 19 when I did the first one, had a borrowed snare drum and tambourine for drum kit, tried my hand on Dad's banjo for the first and only time.

That's cool Steve, nice that you kept the original all this time. Great contrast, the new version is quite hypnotic sounding, but the original has a certain charm to it.

For some reason I thought I was walking on the cliffs around Madras oregon. I just remember really intense colors as the sun slowly moved across the rocks. Did you have banjo in the second version, or was it all guitar?

Steve, I like what you have done here - I loved both versions. Reminded me a bit of some really early Floyd. Love it.

eph221 - that's funny, the second version was recorded not long after returning from a vacation in Yachats. Oregon. No banjo the second time, just guitars - and 5 or 6 bass tracks, lol.
