Excellent stuff, I don't usually listen to instrumentals but I really like what you did, It builds nicely so keeps you interested to what going to happen next.
Is that a new fangled Acoustic guitar VST? I play guitar so have never messed with one. But it makes beautiful music what ever it is.

That's funny.  I don't normally listen to instrumentals either, yet I'm working on an instrumental album.  LOL.  Mostly because people have been begging me for one.

Yes, all of the guitars are VSTs.  One is Strum Session 2, the other is Ample Guitar M II Lite.  The electric guitars are Shreddage (power chords) and Shreddage 2 Ibz (lead guitar).

Thanks for the comment!

I saw the #tag Pink Floyd and it's not far wrong. I enjoyed the listen as it slowly builds and the mix sounds fine on my studio monitors. Good job.

I enjoyed this as well.  I imagined myself in a  venue...the warm smell of weed in the air and this music echoing over our heads.  It very epic.

This sounds awesome! Love the "guitar" work. I think the hi hat might be a little too up front, it became a little distracting, but that's about the only thing I didn't like about your mix. Great job on this!

Loved it!

Agree with Dan on the hi-hat, but there is no pain, it could be receded, but not so far as to be a distant pinprick on the horizon.

Cool tom roll!!!

Welp, maybe the snare hits and sidestick hits could have a little more variation. Are all snare hits given the same velocity?

As you can see, I'm reaching for improvements to suggest . . . pretty nice job here.

thanks for the throwback!

Great tips for mix improvements.  Yes, I can pull the hats back.  Each drum "piece" is "mic'd" separately, so, I can pull back both the hats volume.  I don't want to pull back the overheads though, as my cymbals would be affected.

Good tip on the velocity.  I can change that as well.

Nice...    definitely picking up a bit of that Floyd vibe.   If all the guitars are VSTs, then you've done a bang up job.    Love the organ glisses and tone too btw, very Floyd-ish.  Ditto for the lead synth.

Everything sounds great, nice and clear, but still has some punch.
