I have this Yamaha DD-65 drum set. For the high hat and kick drum, there were only small foot switches instead of pedals.
Last year I mentioned to my friends that I needed a MIDI bass drum trigger, but not being musicians, the got together and bought me a normal kick drum pedal for Christmas.
To make it work with the simple switch that came with the DD-65, I used sticky Velcro on the back of the switch and attached it to the side of my Squire BP-15 bass amp.
Works great!

Works great until the bass amp slides away at the gig.

I was buying some new shoes the other day and the salesman asked me if I wanted to try some that were quicker to do up because they had velcro fasteners instead of laces.

I said sure, why knot?

No. I was a bit deflated though, so I bought some pumps.

Just received a shipment of a 1.5"x32" long aluminum tube wrapped in about 10 yards of the stuff.

Good Times

Pace yourself, young man.

We don't want to have to call the ambulance over a BW OD...
