I need HELP

Somehow I hid my Control Panel for my MA/FTU. I can see its open in the task bar but nowhere to be found on my desk top.

Anyone know how to get it back into view?

Thanks in advance

A lil more info.
I can right click on the pop-up from the task bar and select "move".  The Cursor jumps to the upper left corner-but I cant see or grab and move anything.

Do you have your computer set up for dual monitor? Didn't you move it to the side?

Yeh I think so but I cant find or grab it to drag it back to being visible. Wasnt sure if there was an easy way to get it where I can drag it back to where I can do something with it.

I run Duals in the studio but when I take it out on the road I just take 1 monitor so not sure how I did it, just looking to get it back

My MAudio Control Panel (for my Fastrack Ultra 8R) resides in the "notification area" of the Task Bar (the lower right section).

Thanks for the response Fire,

Yeh Ive got the icons in the Task Bar and on the Notification/Window. I can open MAudio Control Panel bu clicking on the Icons as usual but the problem is is that even though it opens, it opens, the control stays hidden off to the side like I drug and dropped it out of view. When you hover the mouse cursor over the icon on the task bar, it shows it is open. Ill get a screen shot so you can see what Im trying to describe.  Wasnt sure if there was a keystroke or something to automatically bring the C-Panel back to center or something. Im sure theres gotta be something

I can Right Click on the Task Bar Ican and select "move". The 4-Arrowed (move) cursor will immediately jump to the upper left corner like this is where it is hidden but I cannot see or get ahold of anything there.

OK figured it out. Had to do some HKEY Regediting and got it back to center.

For future reference

If the Fast Track Ultra Control Panel application appears at the bottom of your screen on the taskbar, but the control panel window it self is not visible, right-click the application in the taskbar and choose "maximize".
If it doesn't appear:
  • Click on the task bar icon to make the Fast Track Ultra Control Panel the active/selected Window
  • Press alt + spacebar
  • Press m
  • Press a directional arrow
  • Move your mouse and you should be able to place the control panel back on screen where you want it Another option method is to right-click and choose "move", then try using the arrow keys to bring it back on screen.

Alternatively you can delete the registry key for the Fast Track Ultra Control Panel's Window layout.  Make sure the Fast Track Ultra Control Panel is closed, then press Start+R to open the Run dialog box and type "regedit".  Locate and delete the following registry key:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\M-Audio\MAUSBFTUCpl\WindowLayout

Either way, check to make sure you have the latest drivers for your video/graphics cards from the manufacturers website.

If the control panel won’t open at all from the System Tray, create shortcut on your desktop to point to MAUSBFTUCpl.exe located in the windows\system32 folder.
