Just got off the phone with her and she's sounding like her usual self for the first time since the surgery (gall bladder removal for those who didn't see the first thread).
She was a pretty hurtin' unit for a while there but ya... seems to be healing up and got the ole mumzie spark back in her voice. She says she's still pretty sore (I guess they had to run a drainage tube through her ribs which she says is where most of the pain is) but eating more normally again and off the heavy duty post op pain stuff.
