Hi, guys, and long time no see!
Right now, the big part of my work in Sonar is going to be a series of short clips (between 20s and 2m. This one is 30s) of sort of film-music stuff. This here is the first for the year.

Give me tips on the mix, arrangement, etc! I used REAL horns here (trumpet, 3 flugels and 4 trombones), and recorded electric guitar to sort of 'augment' the reality of whole thing, since everything else is synths. I think for a roughly 8-hr project, it sounds pretty okay, but please let me know what you think!

I'm not sure exactly how many of these tracks I'll make, but I'm doing it to get performance/recording experience on for my horns, learn the best ways to arrange, record and mix this kind of music, and build up a sizable repertoire of show-off material so I can get on-board some game design projects.

Thanks!

Talk about coming back with a fanfare!
Sounds good to me. The very best of luck with your endeavour.

Short and sweet, those horns have been very well recorded. Nothing sounds wrong to these ears.

Nothing not to like with that one!   The horns do sound very realistic.

I listened to this weeks ago before you removed the link -- didn't get a chance to comment then!   Very well recorded and composed -- good stuff...
