There are more browsers to try if you're in the mood:

I mostly use Edge. I just don't like the way it can't remember a Google font and seemingly cleanly load it from cache, like with the above link and pages.
(Not meaning to spam my own hobby site. Just might as well help as the above old page includes a fair few browsers.)

I use Firefox as primary (without Flash), and Chrome as secondary (mostly for flash based sites).  I reserve Edge with no plugins or extensions for trusted sites that may have problems with the ad blockers and stuff I run in the other two browsers.

I wouldn't touch IE with a 10 foot pole.

FF here too.  I can't remember the last time I used any others.  I had previously used Chrome, but I can't remember why I quit using it.  I need to start writing down the reasons for decisions I make ...

And since they have updated Firefox to run in multiple processes, and made it available as a full 64-bit application, I have not had a single crash, or unexplained memory leak after opening dozens of tabs...

So very stable now, and performance wise, is as good as any other browser.

I used to use FF all the time, but two of the very few websites I actually use on a regular basis would not display properly without switching to IE tab and then that stopped working after one particular update so I ditched it. I also much preferred it when there wasn't a new version every week. The time it took to get from version 3.6 to version 50-odd was ridiculous especially once it hit the 40's and just about every update seemed to break something and/or require jiggery-pokery to get rid of the "improvements" they kept making to the appearance.

I try to avoid all things google as much as possible and never liked IE, so ended up at Opera. Not perfect, but the best of the FF alternatives for me.

Google though...............

I googled "though". Too many links. Did you have a specific one in mind that was particularly bad?

Seeing as you're responsible for the biggest pile of crap on the whole of the www I think it's only fair that you should have to read them all.

And then write it all out 100 times.

Opera's not bad these days.  Chromium based now though, so upset a few of the classic Opera diehards...
