How did I miss this one?

Love the lyric Lynn.

Only crit is the drums seem just a bit too dry in contrast with the feel of the backing tracks.

Ed, thanks for taking a listen.  I'll give those drums some love on the next pass.

I missed this one too...weird..anyway, sounds very good Lynn, vocal sound is top notch. It does sound very wide through headphones but I don't mind that. Still having EBow fun I hear  Well put together song, glad you finished it up.

Beautiful professional sounding recording, mix and production doing full justice to a top song. Like others the lyrics touched a real chord with me. Your vocals and harmonies are sublime. And I give another vote for the full use of the stereo field.

Top song!

James, thanks for the kind words.  I love that EBow and have a new song on the back burner featuring it.

Bill, thank you kindly for your response.  Let's make this a stereo world again!

i love it!
The guitar is very cool, and the drums fit nice.

I would really love to hear a stripped down version.  Without the strings, and then pull some of the reverb off the vocals.  but, this is very nice.

the ending is cool, almost like a band my uncle told me about, Fever Tree

Nice big cat

Jesse, I really appreciate your time and comments.  I like your stripped down idea, kind of like "unplugged".  I'll have to give it a listen.

Lynn, your captivating voice is easy to like. You don't hear me say this often, but I would have lowered the strings a tad. Nice work!

Ya it's a favorite trick of mine to get a song all fleshed out with 4 guitar parts etc and start turning things OFF.
We tend to get attached after all the time we put into creating those different parts so it's hard to nuke them.
I often try different guitars , capo, open tuning, and sometimes I turn them down but later I find if I Mute them the song becomes cleaner and more focused on the best parts.

Lasse, thanks for your time and comment.  This is something I was wondering about, too.  I don't think so when I'm listening in my car with the window open, but when I close the window the strings are there.

Johnny, do the same thing with my stuff.  I'm so used to overproducing that I have to remind myself to keep it simple.  Thanks again for your input.
