Last week I posted a song that really wasn't up to our standards. So I felt like we needed to redeem ourselves so we didn't lose to many fans. When you don't have many fans, you can't afford to lose any!

Hope you enjoy this little fast paced tune called Again. Comments, suggestions, or anything else welcomed.

I like this alot.  It sounds strangely familiar, but also somewhat fresh and new.  Also, you managed to get the song down to 3 minutes which I'm told is the golden ticket! (3-3'10").

Thanks man. I made a couple of tweaks based on some help from a few people. It was a bit bright. So that's toned back a bit.

Well this is excellent stuff to me , mostly because it's real. And my kind of rock and roll. Good job.

Excellent! Really liked this, a very 'live' mix, everything coming through nicely and loads of energy.

It's live sounding, it's tight, it's driving, it has a little breakdown for variety, and the vocals are presented very well.
Whoever got that snare sounding like that, I think they did a great job.

My little crit would be, the very beginning intro, the rhythm of the drums confused me. Just between :09 and :12.

cool, cool stuff!

I love this.  It's fresh, as Tom said, live sounding.  I like this style of music and would listen to this again and again.  I'm sure it would be a good road song.  Encore!

Thanks so much everyone for all the kind words. If we can entertain one person with our work, it's all worth it!!

We still do much our stuff "old school." We do take advantage of the great convenience, FX, and other benefits of sonar, and digital recording, but all in all we just play and record like the old days with a tape machine, then produce our songs from there. The big difference is the "production" is now "in the box" vs the old days it was all external gear.

Thanks very much, I am the drummer, in addition to doing most of the production. The drums are acoustic and played with the song. The snare is a 1982 Tama  Superstar Mastercraft artwood inlay snare, 14x6.5,  that I purchased new back in the day. I use an SM57 close mic and two overhead mics, both AKG 414s.

It also has a trigger overlay of the AD2 DW Collectors Copper 14x5 mixed in with it.

The mix works here, seems to capture the energy of the players, thanks for sharing.
