CRITICAL UPDATE!!!
Sad for me that my thread was locked, but think Paulo hit it on the head about rusty badges needing to rattle themselves to revive a sense of identity and power. Like the old Buddhists said, cock crowing on top of a dung hill.
Do hope nobody was actually offended and that the block was just the impulse of some poor jerk needing to feel important. It was meant to be in fun and humor.
I am not a Christian. I have the deepest respect to every spiritual faith that tries to lessen the gap of understanding with their Creator, and especially those who try in their daily lives to put their faith into objective practice in service of the human family. Respect the atheists too. They have their reasons that need to be heard.
Some minor interesting stuff on the Sept 23
rd end of the world prediction, and a critical shift in calculation.
Me and the wife had been blasted for a year by a well meaning friend over seas. Beautiful and sincere lady begging us to give up our heathen practice of yoga before we burn in the tar pits forever with the muslims. The end of the world was coming soon and the calculations for the exact second were in the works.
She is a privileged inner circle confidant for the website I gave. Evidently the preacher is a 7
th level saint, whatever that means. They claim he has a direct connection to heaven and to information from Jehovah face to face that none of the rest of us has.
Not only that, but the saint is a “Spiritual Numerologist”. She explained how the scripture has two levels of understanding. One is for the clueless masses like you and me. Do ye this. Don’t do ye this, etc. The inner level of scripture is a vast mathematic projection revealing all prophecies to come, including the exact time of the end of the world. You only have to be spiritually elevated high enough to see the inner revelations.
After many harangues I got pissed one time and emailed her that her own scripture says that no man knows the day or the hour of the end, so get off her high horse and get a life. That got me on every junk email list imaginable in the backlash.
We just got what must be a 20 page email from her. Longer than even I can write.
Haven’t had time to digest the diatribe yet. She swore me to secrecy to not divulge this leaked information to anyone before it is announced to the public on the official website. She could risk excommunication and even worse, have to spend eternity with me in the brimstone pit. I promised (but crossed my fingers).
Brief overview of the ramblings looks like the preacher was overcome with fatigue in his effort to bring the prophecies into the dust of the world. He added where he needed to subtract and might have shifted a decimal point somewhere in error.
The inner circle is crunching the numbers and recalculating. Tomorrow may not be the end of the world. I will update when the corrected calculations have been processed.
This is a blessing to me, because my cable provider and cell phone were paid up for the next month.
