Its not been a bad day so far. I finally got my latest track onto Soundcloud, The first goodies from from the Panic Room crowd funding DVD project dropped through my door. AND i found the lost recording of my Great Great Grandfather reciting the "Fisherman's Alphabet" on BBC Radio in 1943.

The recording was transferred to cassette back in the 80's. Now all I have to do is find a tape deck and record it to a WAV file and mess around in iZotope RX Elements.

On the other side of my family my maternal Grandfather, who died when I was a baby was a butcher, but he was also involved with the D' Oyly Carte light opera company and appeared in local productions of Gilbert and Sullivan. Sadly all that remains is a photo of him in costume for "The Mikado".

The D'Oyly Carte's county house is nearby, hence the local connection.
