Very nice song, Bjorn, almost pastoral.   I also get that "holding back" vibe from your vocals, though at the same time I do like the airiness.  If you're lacking confidence in remaining on pitch I wouldn't hesitate to give Melodyne a spin.   Heck, I use it all the time on my vocals.   

This is a beautiful song Bjorn.  It has a very introspective feel to it that match the lyrics.  I think the treatment you have given the vocals are good.  I believe that any more power or Fx on the vocals would overwhelm the song.

Good idea on putting the vocal up front.   Usually I try to hide the deficiencies with a loud accompanying track.

Thanks.  Actually I have Melodyn on speed dial - I have to use it all the time on my vocals. It helps a lot, but can only do so much.
