I think it's a funny/cute/useful abbreviation though. I'm pleased with Platinum so when I use the term it's not meant to be derogatory. Just quicker to type, everyone knows what version you are referring to and it's kind of punk rock.

Kenny they are both "spelled" the same, but they are "written" differently.

I kind of feel like the abbreviation makes the software sound unprofessional. I dislike SPLAT as well Sharks.
