He'll Yeah, it's hard to get honest answers from some folks! I liked your steely dan number BTW, they were a big influence along my musical path, I remember hearing reeling in the years in the car with my mom when I was 7 or 8 years old and asking her what all the instruments were. She didn't know and I was lead on a lifelong path of musical discovery. My tastes are quite eclectic now but still love the dan

The track is well crafted and certainly well mixed, nothing pings out to these ears. I do have to agree about that lead tone, maybe because it is so distinct and unusual. My thoughts are that it would probably work better if it was used sparingly, maybe between the links of each section.
 
But all in all I enjoyed the listen.
